Broken Chains Ministries, Inc. is a Reentry and Aftercare Agency assisting men, women and youth leaving the criminal justice system with the much needed programs and services (mentoring, employment, housing assistance and other supportive services) as they return back to communities within Polk County, FL; the programs and services we provide have proven to help decrease recidivism and improve public safety.  Case Managers work diligenly to provide each individual released from prison and those with criminal records with the assistance needed to be a independent and law abiding member of society.  Upon release exoffenders are given $100 and this is hardly enough to put down on housing, purchase food and clothing that is appropriate for work, your donation will assist our agency in providing many of these much needed services.  

We further provide children who have a parent incarcerated with a gift during the Christmas Holidays from their incarcerated parent, and with a message of love from the incarcerated parent; this is accomplished through our “Children with Promise Angel Tree Program.”  Polk County, FL have over 1000 children with a parent incarcerated and BCMI Children with Promise Angel Tree Program work effortlessly to provide over 250 children with a gift each year during the Christmas Holidays.
